Here at Vallum House Cakes we make beautiful award winning cakes.   We specialise in wedding cakes creating elegant, contemporary, classic and even novelty cakes for your special day at affordable prices. We are based in Throckley, West Newcastle and we serve the whole of the North East.

We know the importance of a delicious tasting cake, therefore only the finest ingredients are used in our baking.  We take pride in the freshness of our cakes and fillings and use organic free range eggs from our own hens and only the finest quality preserves and liqueurs.  All of our ingredients are locally sourced.

Each brandy soaked fruit cake is baked to Eleanor's famous recipe and lovingly ‘fed’ and matured to perfection. Each delicious sponge cake is baked fresh to order and our cupcakes are always made in small batches to order.  We love nothing more than their soft and fluffy “just out the oven” texture.  Our trufle or sponge cake pops are wonderful fun.

We will work with you from initial design stage when we can talk about your ideas, sketch out bespoke designs and offer you samples of a few of our flavours, right through to creating you a stunning and unique work of art for your Special Day. 

We provide cupcakes, cake pops, novelty cakes, delicious wedding favours, bespoke sugar work cake toppers and celebration cakes for any occasion.  

We also provide beautiful high quality wedding cake knives adorned to reflect your wedding cake design and are a wonderful keepsake of your special day. 

Vallum House Cakes are not ordinary cakes they’re unique, indulgent, luxurious, chic, sometimes wacky and often silly but above all they're absolutely delicious.
